What can you expect for the exorbitant rent they charge' A catty group of do-nothings in the front office, a building that is deteriorating by the minute, and paper-thin walls to hear every unwelcome noise possible. The trash "system" is a complete fiasco. And forget about repairs when something breaks or leaks or just stops running; maintenance service is just another promise unfulfilled. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I can't wait to say good riddance to this place.

Suspected Drug Lab Discovered March 18, 2009 Charlottesville police believe someone may have been running a meth lab out of the Grand Marc Apartments on 15th Street northwest near the UVA corner. Fire, hazmat and police crews were all called to the scene because of reports of a suspicious odor. Police say they received information Tuesday around 10:00 p.m. about strong chemical odors coming from apartment 301 15th Street northwest. The initial call was received by the Jefferson Area Drug Enforcement task force. "I'm glad they called us because it could have been a dangerous situation," said Lieutenant Don Campbell with the Jefferson Area Drug Enforcement task force. http://www.nbc29.com/Global/story.asp?S=10026323

I am going to be a resident there and I plan on calling cops when it is noisy....and as for expensive...i disagree!! 730 for a two bedroom is amazingly cheap...i used to live in orlando fl and paid 1,200 for a sh**ty one bedroom apt. with paperthin walls

Lol, ok, you call the cops every Thursday night through Saturday night. They're a little busy dealing with the meth lab and plywood holding up the first floor, but I'm sure they care that a group of people walked by your door talking at 3am.
