Pros:
1. All the staff try hard and are nice, I just think they are in over their respective heads.
2. The location is convenient.
3. The view is nice.
4. Well lit at night.
5. Allow pets.
Cons:
1. Not finished building it: This complex is not nearly done, and given the rate of progress I've seen over the last few months, I would honestly guess fall 2005 at the earliest. Great idea to insert a clause into the lease about promised completion dates for various things as mentioned by an earlier poster.
2. Even when they think they're "done," things are incomplete. Small segments of baseboard are missing, certain items are not completely painted, etc.
3. Unreliable Utilities. I'm new to the area so I guess having 2-3 power outages a week here is normal, but the included T1 internet is a joke. I would say about 80% uptime. The longest we've gone without an outage is about a week. There is no one to call if it goes out and the rental office is closed, because J. Ridge contracts with sprint. As an aside, today I noticed some Cat5 cable just running along the ground for about 200', intermittently buried underground; real quality installation.
