I lived in Shamrock Corp's Landmark Apartments at 1904 Jefferson Park Avenue between 1998-2001. While the apartments were quite small, and show their age, I found maintenance to be excellent. I lived on a ground floor apartment, and never hhad a problem with mice or roaches, but there was the occasional millipede.

I felt secure there, but the parking area was not lighted enough for my taste. I never was subject to vandalism, or felt unsafe at 3 a.m.

The management at my time there was fantastic--minor repairs were almost always same day. A maintenance man once even helped me put my license plates on my car.

Overall, the complex was very quiet. In the three years I lived there, I can't recall any loud parties, or disturbing radio blasting, although sound does leak through walls.

Parking was a problem: Some years worse than others, depending on how many cars the students brought with them. But remember the building was built in 1970, in a time before every student had a car.

I would recommend this apartment--but bear in mind my experineces were some time ago.
