This is the worst place to live unless you are a convicted criminal. There are shootings (a guy had his kneecaps shot at 3:00 in the afternoon). There was a convicted murderer hiding from the police living right next door to me. I had a friend living there whose ground floor apartment was broken into. I myself was raped in my apartment, and the office did nothing to let me out of my lease or to cooperate with the police. Instead they charged me to break my lease, and an extra months rent for leaving early. A woman below me was almost beaten to death, and being the wonderful mother she is, she used one of her million kids to shield herself causing serious injuries to the child. The management is horrible, and the tenants seems to think they live in Detroit not Charlottesville. As with all Charlottesville "wann-be ghetto thugs." I wish the police would arrest them all and drop them in the "real" ghettos and see how much of a "gangsta" they are. Doesn't matter what race/ethnicity they are, they all think they are in the Crypts or the Bloods. I lived there for four months, and it was the scariest four months of my life. I wish someone had written a review before I moved. The management offered a great deal and boasted of the wonderful, beautiful community. For anyone who wants to live in a nice community, and the "thug life" isn't for them, I urge you not to move there...especially those of you with children.
