Adalay Bay is by far one of the best apartments in Chesapeake, Virginia. It is in a great and safe location. The staff is awesome and when something breaks, maintance is always there to fix the problem right away.
Adalay Bay has fun activities to bring the community together. They have a big Luau during the summer, christmas parties, halloween parties, easter egg hunts, and many more. Everyone usually gets a prize as well. It's a lot of fun!! It is sad that people don't appreciate all of their hard work!
The rent is pricey, but it is competitive with the market. (The prizes from the parties do not come from the rent money!!!) The rent is well worth living at Adalay Bay.
The staff enforces the policy at all times while maintaining good service to all. If there is a problem, you can call them and trust them to solve the issue. It's not their fault that the residents don't know how to pick up after their pets. Also, they will tow if there is a parking issue.
Overall, it is one of the best in Chesapeake if you want to live in a clean and friendly environment!

Dear Anon..yes, it is their "fault" that residents don't pick up after dogs. If you're going to have a place that allows dogs then 1.) keep the containers emptied, 2.)provide bags 3.) ENFORCE YOUR RULES - If you cannot meet these requirements then - DON'T HAVE RULES THAT STATE YOU DO! Secondly, they tow RANDOMLY - they also ticket RANDOMLY. The rules state both in the lease and on the towing notices at each entrance - PARKING IN MARKED SPACES ONLY. AGAIN, Adalay bay is extrememly LAX in enforcing their rules that they created. And, AGAIN, if you're going to have rules, then enforce them. Don't play favorites or decide because it's raining or cold you won't ticket. The rent is NOT worth it. And, yes the monies for the extravigant parties do come out of rent monies. Rent monies are pooled into an account. Payments for utilities and expenses for managing the property come out of that account - these expenses also include the parties given. It is a shame that as much "hard work" that is put into the parties, isn't put into keeping the rules and regs we must SIGN to abide by.

Gee...it seems like this reviewer is trying really hard to rebute an honest review. I wonder if people are posting multiple reviews...like a husband, a wife, a friend, etc...
