I have to agree with the last review, I feel like I am living in the ghetto...The break ins are getting really bad. There has been like 7 now, I think..Too many cars too count, windows getting busted out, and all that the office staff can tell us is keep your windows and blinds shut, I'm sorry but when you pay almost $1500.00 a month I should not have to worry about my windows nor my blinds. For this amount we should have a walking security guard patrolling the area. Oh and yes no linen closetes, you have to shove your towles and wash clothes under the bathroom cabinet. The car wash has 2 hoses and the vacuum has not worked since I moved here, they recently fixed it...the computers are always messed up and the printers NEVER work... the fitness room, yeah right you can't hardly run on the treadmills because they are so worn out...Let's see only went to the pool twice this summer because it was always dirty...The staff are extra friendly but I'm sorry doesn't make up for the rip off. They say anything to get you in,trust me the minute our lease is up I am GONE!!!!!Think twice before you move here, you will never have parking unless you have a bike in your trunk to ride the rest of the way home..The apartment was dirty when I moved in, dog hair was painted to my base boards, there is mold and mildew growing around our tubs and sinks....WHEW, I am READY TO GO!!!!!!

I lived there several years ago and then again recently moved back but left immediately because it wasn't maintained and things were not done well. For example, the air filters are full of grime and disgusting. The sinks leak, the windows leak and the strip along the bathtubs always get nasty behind them. I think that they try really hard at that complex and yet they really need to step it up if they want to keep quality residents there. I moved and haven't looked back. It is unfortunate because when they were newer they were really really nice to live in but now; it's a dump with what sounds like now a security issue. Too bad.

you are right on with your assumption. They have let the complex go to crap. The office staff is more concerned about thier next party than the complex. Get rid of the staff and the "courtesy" officer and get a real live business management staff and a security office to walk/drive the grounds. If you live there like us, call the police for any disturbance. Adalay Bay is already on thier list of "watchful" complexes as the police are called there regularly. Also, if you live there - and you want to renew your lease because you are comfortable there, negotiate your lease. One thing i would suggest to Adaly Bay is to realize the economy is crappy: get rid of your parties, get rid of your high maintenance flowers - stop redecorating your front office - get a better exercise room and equipment - place some valid rules at the pool and for god sakes - stop giving those of us who live there stupid excuses for crap that happens. Seriously, BS 101 works only in the military not with the public sector. When our lease is up...we are out...there are new apts on Great Bridge Blvd that seem to be okay...however, the name scars me...sounds like an adalay bay upgrade...the only good thing about the place right now is the kind heart of Ron - the maintenance guy. Oh ya and the - um...wait it is coming to me...ya, can't think of nothing else....the place sucks.
