Do Not Waste Your Money

My roommate and myself were one of the first tennets in these apartments. When we went looking for apartments, we adored these from the beginning. Althought I thought the price was a little steep, we figured we would make it work. At first, everything was perfect. Or so it seemed. Numerous problems occured and it was far too late to change due to already having signed a lease. We wanted to change apartments because of the neighbors stomping up and down the stairs but there was a steep charge to do so. Upon telling management, I was told that there was really nothing that could be done about it. The setup of the bedrooms is ridiculous. There was only one place that you could put your bed in the master bedroom because of where the bathroom and closet were "stategically" placed. Parking was also an issue. Coming home late at night sometimes, I would have to park inconvienently due to the neighbors guests parking right up "front". If I'm the one paying the rent, I should be able to park close to my apartment building. The staff was very courteous and always very helpful. But management always made me feel like my concerns were a small matter or wasn't a problem at all. Upon moving out of the apartment, I scrubbed and cleaned to the best that I could and it still wasn't "clean enough" for management. Having a medical condition that I am NOT supposed to stress out and management has gotten me far past that point that I'm genuinely glad that I'm out of there. Never in my life of living in apartments, homes, or wherever I had been living have I ever wanted to be out of an apartment so badly. Management needs to realize that we are renting from them in the hopes that they would make their apartments feel like "home". I never once ever felt like I was at home or welcome in the apartments.
On a good note, the ladies in the office were very helpful all the time and would take their time out to make my needs met, which most times, got blown off by management. I recommend that you don't wast your money on these apartments. Other than having brand new appliances and a washer and dryer, they aren't worth it.

You're right. Renee Allen the property manager is aweful. She doesn't care or address any of your concerns once you move in.
