My boyfriend and I came by the office on a Saturday to view the model apartments and get information about the complex. Wow.... looks are deceiving. From the road it looks like a wonderful place. The model apartments even look nice (thanks to decorators). However, it is not such a great place. They are WAY over priced. They charge you extra for everything. I even thought about asking if they charged you for each piece of furniture you moved in! Its that bad. A view (no real view in the entire place)=extra. A floor other than the 2nd=extra. Upgraded kitchen (that you didnt ask for)=extra. Fixed water bill that changes depending on the # of bedrooms. No included utilities. The so called gated community has a big opening in the fence right by the main road that allows people walking by, from the less nicer area, a way to just walk in. Or they could just jump it because its only 3ft high! Basically nothing to justify the expensive of just living there. And the worst.....the leasing consultant that was working was the one of the most unprofessional people I've ever met! Had an attitude like she didnt really care you were there. When the key to one of the units didnt work she just said, "guess we wont be seeing this one today". A professional would have corrected the situation, call maintenance, etc. Not just act like it doesnt matter. Because guess what'! If you cant even treat the people right when they're looking at the place, how are you going to treat them once they're locked into a year's lease. I for one, will not be moving into the Belmont at Greenbrier and they can thank their staff for that!

I also do not live at Belmont, but have had a wonderful experience with the staff and the Manager. Rebekah spent a lot of time showing me apartments and listening to my special needs for my handicapped son. She was very professional. I returned later and was again shown the apartment by the Manager. I even discussed the comments on this site with the manager and she was very forthcoming in that regard. Yes, the gate was broken at the time, but do you have a security gate at home now?

I don't think its quite fair to post if you don't even live there. I, too, took a tour at Belmont and will be moving in there this month in fact. Rebekah is amazing. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. You can tell she is a busy busy busy woman but still makes you feel important. Extra money in the certain models is to PAY FOR THE UPGRADES DUH!! If it's an issue, don't get that model. Even the "lesser" ones are still gorgeous (as in fake granite vs REAL granite. c'mon!!). The 3rd and 1st floors are most expensive because of demand. The apartment business is just that: a BUSINESS! They have to make money too. It's an extra 30 bucks to live on the 3rd floor per month. (worth it to me- we're taking it!) Plus, they gave us a move in special, waived all security deposits and app feas, so our prorated move-in is completely covered. The only reason it's not free is because it did not cover our pet deposit. But when you break it down, we essentially aren't paying for a week of living there. This will ease our move tremendously. Based on what I have seen of this place, it's wonderful. I APPROVE!! :)
