ATTENTION, for all of you that are living at the birches and are unhappy with all the -------- and lies, there are agencies out there that you can file complaints with and get help! You want out of your lease' Turn in a WRITTEN and DATED list of repairs that you need done.

IF they are NOT done within a certain amount of working days you can terminate your lease without having to pay the penalty!! Go to the state agency websites and read what your rights are! Virginia's Consumer Affairs is the best place for you to go to!!! They handle landlord, tenant issues! FILE A COMPLAINT! NOW! It seems that everyone I've talked to has said the same thing.

You are lied to when you are told how much your rent will be.

And that's a BIG NO, NO! That's Bait and Switch! You are shown the "demo" apt.

and told how nice your unit will be.

WELL IT'S NOT!!!!
And IF some of you are like us, and it seems that you are, you've been told the rental price is one amount and when you sign the lease, you are screwed!! NO ONE bothers to tell you about the "hidden" charges! I agree with every posting on here that's negative.

The good ones, I'd bet my life were posted either by the resident manger, who is as dumb as a rock and rude as hell, or someone from the corporate office.

NO ONE who lives here, or has ever lived here has a single nice word to say about the birches and the people in the office! Espically the current resident manager.

I DO ENCOURAGE EVERYONE THAT HAS ANY TYPE OF COMPLAINT TO FILE A COMPLAINT!!!! ASAP!
It's going to keep happening until people start bitching and filing complaints!
There are laws against what's being done.

Copy and paste either address into your browser and find out what you can do to stop being shafted! You can print a complaint form off either web site, fill it out and mail it in.

These agencies WILL HELP!!!!
I encourage everyone to at least check the web sites out.

And tell anyone you know that's living at the birches or has to do the same.

It's the only way the "Trail to Hell" is going to end!
Not to mention all the safety issues there are.
