I have read all the reviews here and all I can say about those who wrote the negative reviews is...so long. I am having a wonderful experience here. The staff is great, they are kind and responsive. For those of you who are military and are not satisified with the level of maintenance or responsiveness, call the Navy Housing office - they will help you resolve your complaint. This complex is approved by them to participate in the Set Aside program and as such must conform to certain ruls and regulations. Seek help if you are having problems.
Overall, my experience here has been a great one. I searched for several months prior to setteling on this complex, and I am glad I did...I don't expect to be moving anytime in the near future, unless the military decides to send me some wehere else. It seems to me that more often than not, those with unresolved complaints are generally rude themselves. Were I a manager here, I would treat them just like they treat me.
On the complaint side, which we all have, I can say that I have had minor problems...which were quickly resolved...the resident manager even followed up with me and ensured that they were taken care of. I will agree with one of the other residets that I do not like the fact that there is no overheard light in either the bedroom or the living room, however, I have yet to find an apartment that has that. I Am quite pleased with The Birches and would recommend it to anyone. Should anyone have any questions, feel free to email me.
