My husband and I transfered to the area from spending three years in Italy. It was rather difficult to find a place that would take large dogs. Their pet policy is reasonable and you get half the pet deposit back when you leave. An extra $25 each month for pets no matter how many you have. Well maintained grounds! Plenty of parking areas. Pleasantly friendly staff that will stop what they are doing to help someone in crisis. You have to nag maintence continuously to get something fixed, but considering only 6 maintenance workers and a compound of over 1000 apts, it's understandable. Very safe guarded grounds with 5 county police officers that live in the complex.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!! You will NEVER get any deposit back, reguardless. And give it some time, The Birches will show their "True Colors". Enjoy it while it lasts. They aren't referred to as "The Trail to Hell" for no reason. I do feel for you.
