Birches

 

Sure, the Birches looks great on the outside.

It has "everything" you'll ever need....including fresh baked cookies daily.

Well, that's at least what I was told upon signing the contract.

What they didn't say was that the Office Staff could care less about any tenant or any other problem that happened in the complex just so long as they were getting their rent for half off.

Disrespectful, rude, and lazy.
The maintenance people were non-existant.

I had complained about a leaky washer connection for days until I had to go tell them that my whole bedroom closet was now flooded out and if they didn't soon fix it, they were going to have to replace not only the carpet, but the sub-flooring as well.

After it was fixed, I asked them that since they delayed in getting it fixed and now my floor was starting to mold I wanted the carpets cleaned.

3 weeks later, I finally got what I wanted.
BE CAREFUL IF YOU MOVE HERE!!!!! Make sure you write EVERYTHING down on the walkthrough, otherwise, they will make you pay.

I pointed out a chipped area in the linoleum to one of the managers during the walkthrough and she said that they were already slated to replace it with tile so I didn't need to write it down.

WRONG! A year later I was moving out and was getting charged for the linoleum that had STILL yet to get replaced.
