THIS IS THE WORSE ------- PLACE EVER. MAITENANCE IS A PIECE OF ---- AND THE ------- IN THE RENTAL OFFICE CAN SUCK A ----. THE PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS AND THEY ARE FULL OF IT. MONEY HUNGRY AND COULD CARELESS ABOUT THE RESIDENTS. THERE IS NO TRAINER HARDLY, NO CAR WASH, MORE LIKE A WATER HOSE THAT DOESNT WORK. THE PLAYGROUND IS FILLED WITH NATS AND FLIES, AND ITS NOT EVEN IN THE OPEN. THE WORST PART IS IF YOU ON THE REGISTRY THERE IS 2 PEDOPHILES THAT LIVE ON LOCATION, RIGHT WHERE THE POOL IS. AND IF YOUR MILITARY, DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING RPP THINKING BECAUSE ITS A DISCOUNT YOU WILL LIVE COMFORTABLY. HELL NO. PLEASE, WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT MOVE HERE. ITS 30 YEARS OLD AND THE MODEL HAS UPDATED APPLIANCES BUT YOUR APARTMENT WILL NOT.

Wow, I lived there and completely agree with this person! THe place is going down hill since 2007 when we moved in. The ONLY good thing about these apartments is the location, greenbrier.. you're close to all kinds of shopping, and the surrounding neighborhoods are nice. If The Birches wants to keep a good profile, they need to keep up with all the other apartment communities around it. Also, they allow any kind of pet, which could be nice, but I've seen a few pitbulls, and I thought that they weren't even allowed. They have stopped keeping the grounds nice and clean, the stairs and hallways are filled with cobwebs and the last 3 months I was there I saw nothing but spiders and bugs everywhere outside. And yes, the appliances are crappy.. Tell you what, check out MAPLE BAY APARTMENTS in VIRGINIA BEACH. We pay the SAME AMOUNT for rent here as The Birches, and it's a townhome community newly renovated, with new appliances, new everything. They have a huge pool and fitness center, not just a room with a treadmill. They have an actual playground.. and a dog park. Just a thought.
