I've lived in the Cedars for a couple of years now, and my biggest (but certainly not my only) complaint is with the utilities. I pay an average of $45/mo. (sometimes as high as $60/mo. in a 1 bath apartment'') for water and sewage, a utility that is managed directly by the rental office. This seems very high for a water bill. At least a couple of times per month since I've been here the water is shut off for hours at a time (usually between 3 and 8 hours) to "repair" the pipes. There's no warning, no notice, nothing. Internet and phone service is contracted through Cavalier, a company that I've had nothing but trouble with and have no other option because of the rental office's contracting.

There are degenerates hanging around my building's breezeway all the time, trash in the shrubs/parking lot, everything is always breaking down. The AC is horrible, I can't get my 1-br. apartment below 82 degrees in the summer. If you're looking for a place to live, stay away.
