I have live here with my wife for 2 years now and I love the place.. sure, it is a little spendy, but do you want to live in portsmouth or the rough area of va beach' ah no' the staff are very courteous and quite helpful. and they are good looking also. Maintenance could need some tidying up though. There numerous areas with cigarette butts in front of the buildings, which granted... people who smoke should pickup after themselves and not maintenance. Never the less, ground should be done on a daily basis to pick up things like this. Some people are lazy for they do not pick up there dog remainings on the grounds. Quiet and solitude. For the beginning of staying at this place, the neighbors were quite courteous. And even though we have one couple in our complex that believe that they are the only ones that reside here at Alta Cove' I had a talk with them and the sound decibels have lowered to a mouse squeak. Alot of law enforcement live here which is a plus so the neighborhood wathc is always in affect. The pool is nice, the barbeques are a convenience, and the mall is close by. What else do you want' "lets all be neighbors" . Thanks Pam, Susan, Whitney & Laura for making our stay enjoyable. Maintenancemen 'continue on picking up the things that we all pay for living here at Alta Cove.
