When I was originally looking at this complex, I thought it was about as good as it would get for an apartment complex. The staff were polite and knowledgeable, the maintenance staff were always moving around doing things, and the grounds were very well kept. Little did I know that I was soon to embark on a nightmare. We were told that parking was strictly enforced. Not so. Parking is incredibly inadequate. There are 8 spots for 12 apartments in front of each building half, and only 7 visitor spots shared by three buildings. I called the office today to ask about having a car towed that was parked illegally (visitor repeatedly parking in resident parking) and I was told "if you know which apartment they are in, then we MIGHT be able to do something about it." I am not going to hold my breath on it. So they lied about their standards of enforcement.

I can hear my upstairs neighbors constantly. Walking, talking, vacuuming, what TV show they are watching, urinating, etc. We were told that we would never be able to hear our neighbors. So they lied about the standard of living here.

We are told when we move in that everyone is to pick up after their dogs when the go to the bathroom. I can't tell you how many times I've tracked other peoples animals feces into my house because people aren't picking up after their dogs. When I ask why this isn't enforced I am simply told "It's biodegradable". So again, THEY LIED ABOUT HOW THEY ENFORCE THEIR LEASE!!

When we moved in, written on our rental agreement was the sum of $1305. After three months I get a letter in the mail stating that we owed an additional $30 per month for pet rent. I was also told that I had 5 days to pay $100 in back pet rent. Since when does a company make a mistake on a written contract, and then get to increase the agreed upon amount after three months'' So they have repeatedly shown that they only care about getting their money (which they have not earned) regardless of it clearly being their fault.

The insulation in the windows is entirely too inadiquate causing increased energy bills. I didn't even bother with this one. I would probably get charged for it somehow.

I put in a work request the DAY I MOVED IN!! the back door doesn't close all the way unless locked, the laminate in the kitchen was peeling off the bottom of the cabinet, I asked for them to be fixed. Nothing. Of course they will most likely charge me for repairs when I move out. I WASN'T EVEN GIVEN A DISCREPANCY SHEET WHEN I MOVED IN!!!

On the subject of crime. I've had to chase off two peeping toms already. I now own a firearm.

In summation:
I will be moving at my earliest convenience. Don't bother with this place. Sure it looks nice from the outside. But once you get in here, you are forgotten except on the first of every month when the rent is due. While it is pretty on the surface, it is only on the surface. When you look deeper you will see that the grass isn't as green as you thought, the pool isn't as clean as it looked when you first came here, the trash is always full, the staff always lies to you, there is dog crap everywhere, the policies are never enforced, your neighbors are loud, and you can't park anywhere.

Avoid this place like the plague. You would be happier in a trailer park (and get the same service).

Ok straight shooter, let's spell your name correctly and not get so ghetto. I've lived here for over a year and love it! The parking lot is not numbered and it's great. You can park close one day and maybe the next walk 10 more steps... big deal!! You probably need the excercise. If you live on a bottom floor expect to hear noise. It's an apartment for crying out loud! Spend the extra cash and move to the third floor. I've lived here for over a year and there's never been a crime. It's quite and peaceful here. If you can't afford it, you should leave!!!!!

I agree with everything that this poster has said above. Dogs rule here, and there is crap everywhere. If you think this place is crime free, think again. We had a pedophile living on the top floor who was actually a police officer. We had a drug dealer next door. There are prostitutes in the building. This place is abhorrent. Don't ever bring your kids to live here!!
