empirian is an excellent place to live. i'm surprised to read some of the negatives. the only negatives i have experienced are: the grills were broken by some residents over the summer and they worked to fix them -- the grilling areas are fantastic! a big negative is the parking situation but that occurs when residents have several visitors over. it is sometimes a battle to find a space if you come home after 10pm some nights -- especially the weekends. but this community is just that -- a community. the pool is TERRIFIC! i wish it stayed open longer. it is such a nice environment. i've had friends over playing pool volleyball and cookouts in the grilling area and we've had a great time meeting other residents and making new friends and playing with the kids. the area is beautiful with a nice theater to use and a nice exercise room. the neighborhood is great -- seconds away from places like buffalo wild wings, paradocks, and boston market and excellent shopping like best buy. i've lived there since april/may and i had two things i had to call maintenance about -- my a/c unit didn't work one hot, hot afternoon and they fixed it right away....and there was a leak from a pipe behind one of my toilets and they fixed it by the time i got home. the maintenance crews and the women in the main office could not be more friendly -- they sincerely care about me and i have recommended empirian to some of my friends. this is a COMMUNITY in EVERY sense of the word -- a great place to live.
