We just moved in Ivystone. I'd read the other ratings and was a little concerned. But I can tell you LOTS of NASTY things to compare to where we lived before. Ivystone is a god send!! Try living where we just moved from if you want lousy maintenance, bugs, safety issues,such as paying a fortune for a dump,having your vehichle vandalized, lousy lighting and fearing for your over all safety and NEVER getting any mantenance of any kind done! Not to mention an imcompetent staff! I'll just say it was an older complex behind Greenbrier Mall. Our apartment here at Ivystone has no bugs, newer appliances and all the staff have been helpful, knowledgeable and done what they have said they'd do! So far, other than parking being a bit of trouble, we're VERY happy that we chose to move here. And to top it off, we are only paying $20.00 more per month for a 2 bedroom apt. compared to the $795.00 for a 1 bedroom, VERY SMALL apt. where we were at. AND IF we'd of chosen to stay where we were, we'd of been paying MORE for that 1 bedroom apt. than we are now for our 2 bedroom.
Ivystone came highly recommended to us by my husband's Navy friend that lived here for over 4 years. Even our other friends that came to visit us there said it was a dump and we were being ripped off. And we've found out they were right. Both of us hope that our time here continues to be as it has been,GOOD. Time will tell. As the old saying goes: "One man's trash is another man's treasure". Good Luck to all.
