We are a young military family and were assigned to live here through the Coast Guard. I am exceptionally organized and still can't find a storage place for half of our stuff here. There is in general a lack of space, especially if you have any children. Originally I thought it was okay, just very small, but we have sense had some problems.
1.) We have caught someone at our window twice now. We're not sure if they're trying to break in or if they're trying to peep in...either way it makes me very fearful for our two year old.
2.) The general construction, fixtures and appliances are very cheap. I am no stranger to apartments and I have lived all over the US and this is by far the worst I've seen for a apartment that is this expensive per sq. foot. We can hear the people above us when they are in every room, and we can hear every step they take.
3.)I have only had one run in with maintenance (thank GOD)but it was to say the least a bit irritating. One of the workers came to our door, knocked, waited literally 20 seconds and started to let himself in. I ran to the door told him I was putting my daughter down for a nap and asked if he could come back in a few minutes. He said no, he just needed to turn on the AC, so I asked if I could do it so that I wouldn't disturb my daughter. He said no, barged right on in and walked over to the AC box said oh it's already on and walked out.
4.)Parking is questionable at best, big pothole! Seems like there's always people moving out but the parking situation never seems to improve.
5.) Management and/or maintenance STOLE our grill right off our porch.
