I have to say that these apartments are a good size for what we pay, but there are no washer and dryer connections. They tell you the apartment has them when you move in, but what they really mean is that you have a kitchen sink to hook a portable washer up to. You have to rent these special washers and dryers for $40 a month and they don't even work very well. If you don't want to rent one, you can use the laundry rooms on the complex, which are not air conditioned and you have to keep an eye out for people trying to steal your clothes, especially if you are military. Repairs get fixed rather quickly. My main complaint is with management. They are rude and don't do much when you have a complaint. It's cold outside right now and my heater only blows out cool air. I froze all last winter and was told the heater worked just fine. Why bother complaining about it if I'm just going to be ignored' During the summer time, the A/C doesn't blow out cold air. This apartment is not well insulated. There have been break-ins in cars, the parking lots are not well lit and there are not enough parking spots. They need to assign parking spots, but I guess they are too lazy to do so. Our rent increases each year by at least $20. This apartment is not worth what I pay. I am constantly hearing the bass from car stereos. When we first moved to this area, it was nice, but now it seems like all the criminals have moved over here. I've heard gunshots on numerous occasions. I can't wait to move away from Virginia. I hate it here.
