Everything seemed very nice when my husband and I moved into one of the two bedroom apartments, but became worse when we moved into a townhouse. I too hear animals scratching around in our attic. It's a major production to get anyone to fix problems that were present upon move in date. The townhouse wasn't even ready when we moved in and we had to wait until after six-thirty PM before the maitenence and cleaning staff was out to unload our first load from the moving truck. We moved in during the winter and did not have heat all winter. We also did not have glass in our storm door. It is now the end of the summer and we still don't have the glass. A/C works beautifully downstairs, but

is horrible upstairs. We were told that it worked fine, but because of the humidity, the unit was working too hard to cool the upstairs. The windows have to be propped open, cockroaches come in through the cold air return from the outside and it's been quite some time since I have seen the exterminator. The grounds are very poorly lit so much so that I'm afraid to go out at night without locking my door and taking my cell phone with me.
I must say that I have never had any complaints about politeness of the maitenence staff, but they come and go so quickly that it seems as though every time I call the office for a problem, someone new shows up at the door. No wonder nothing gets done!!!
I agree wholeheartedly with previous reviews about notices for work dates being sent out for "improvements" such as paving then after going through the hassle of moving the cars, the date is changed for the work order.
I had less bug bites when we took a trip to Florida at the beginning of the summer. Enough said as far as I'm concerned.
The first time we had a good steady rain this summer the parking lot flooded and I had to park on the street. The parking lot was flooded WAIST DEEP when I waded through. Granted, I am only a few inches over five feet, but it was still ridiculous.
It has become increasingly noisy with loud music in the last few months. When I take the trash out, I always see broken glass on the ground and the last time I checked, broken glass and the safety of the children of the neighborhood do not go well together. Coupled with the fact that cars race through the parking lot as though it were a NASCAR raceway. This is definately not a safe place for children.
Members of the military beware as well. Even though they participate in the military rental partnership program, they do not do well in following with the guidelines.
For what they charge, I would think that it would be better than low income housing, but I'm 99.9% sure that it is not. I have heard that they are also raising the rent as well and it is definately not worth our while to renew our lease when it is up. Oh I forgot to mention the girls in the rental office are "EXTREMELY RUDE" when it comes to putting a simple maintenance request or simply dealing with them period. I'm so glad I moved out of there because it's getting very hoodish there these days. It's really scary that when I go out to my car I have cell phone programmed to 911 just in case.

this person is lying abotu the flooding depth. there is no way it could have been wasit deep- the water can occaisionally cover tires but that's as high as it has ever been. there is no way for the water to be retained that high. my suggestion? stand up- you'll realize its maybe knee high on you if you're shorter.

lying? ok last summer I had my car flooded out because of the rain . the big ditch out in the street was gone, the police we're detouring traffic around the area because the water was "VERY DEEP". I had to take my car to my friends house just to keep it dry. thank god he's got a 4X4. Trust me it's bad...wait until the summer.

Maybe an inch above the bottom of the rim of the tires, and I believe from what I understand if you have a complaint contact the City, it's thier storm drains, not the complexes, but no one looks into who is really at fault, as far as safety, call the local police before you move in, do your own research, I've never had a problem with the ladies or gentleman working here, sometimes its in your delivery, maybe if you werent barking things at them they would respond accordingly, kindness kills, you get more with sweetness then being a jerk. You people kill me. Isnt it funny, do you really think that no one has had a good experieince living here. I've been here 9 years. Its apartment living, buy a house. Test your luck then.
