I personally dont like it at all.

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
When we moved here a year and a half ago, we were told that the "model" apartment was just like the "real" apartments, but they dont show the real ones. We were delayed in moving in by a couple of days due to personal issues, which gave them and extra three days to get the apartment ready. When we got here, i wanted to cry. The apartment was terrible. THere was a gaping hole in the wall under our kitchen sink, the screen door was broken...and still is, there was trash in the bathroom from the tenants before in the drawers. I know it was their trash because it was letters with their name on it and everything. We were supposed to have an accent wall, which wasn't done until about a month after move in. The AC did not work for about two months. We moved in, in June, so the heat was unbearable. The hole under the sink was fixed by placing a board infront of it. There are animals in the roof, which love to play at night time. The exterior light outside my bedroom window flickers constantly, and has done so for the past 4 months. It is very iritating even with the blinds down. The neighborhood is just not safe at all. My friend had her car broken into, someone bent the antenor on our car, there is trash everywhere on the grounds. A couple of sex offenders live down the road on western branch.
They told us that they were building a club house...i am still waiting on it.
The water bill and electricity bill are rediculous.
Its new management but old problems.
There are weird people walking the property and night and early morning, asking for money when you drive off the property. there is one lady that just screems at you which is kind of scary.
I cannot wait to move out.
people hang out at night especially on the weekend in the parking lot making noise. When you have a baby it is hard to put them to sleep with the noise.
It is not a safe place for children at all. people just fly through the parking lot.
The good thing about it is its locality to everything. It is easy to acess portmouth norfolk chesapeake, and hampton.
It has just been a really bad experience.
THere is a really nice subdivision off of taylor road and bruce rd, which i recommnend. It is about the same price as woodhaven, but 100 time nicer. you cant find it on the internet. You need to go through a realtor for it. There are many nice ones down there, some are a little pricey, but this one is about $900 a month, and well worth the money.
