I went in to obtain some leasing information and maybe take a tour of the models (I was searching a bunch of apartments) when I was asked to sit down. We talked a little about what I was looking for in my future home,etc. blah blah blah and then she asked when did I want to move in' I told her that i was pretty flexible at this time and didn't have a definative moving date--then what she said totally floored me------ "I need to know the date because the rent changes from day to day" I thought I mistook what she said so I said "You mean the rent would be different if I moved in on the 4th or the 8th'" ***she said "YES!!"**
Needless to say, I walked out immediately. To me this tells me that if they have only a few open apartments, they would charge me the lowest rent and if they had numerous open apartments and more opening up soon, they would charge me more to make up for loss revenue. That has got to be illegal---I need to check that out cause this just happened last week.
