I lived here on a short term lease...and I was thankful for that. My apartment reeked of smoke from the previous tenant. The carpet was dirty and shredding near the sides. Unfortunately, it was the only one-bedroom available at the time, so I couldn't move anywhere else. The bug issue was so bad it was almost laughable. I was in a first floor unit, which may have had something to do with it. Roaches & spiders mainly. Each week I'd find a roach somewhere near the baseboards. There were roach traps in the cabinets under the sink...I'm not sure if they were left by the previous tenant or by maintainence. One time, I had some friends over, and as we were sitting at the table, a spider came down from the ceiling from a thread of its web. My friends bolted from the table. It was pretty embarassing. Another annoyance was the fact that there was only one cable outlet. So if you wanted to watch TV in the bedroom, you couldn't do it. For a supposedly "upscale" apartment complex, that's pretty ridiculous. The lack of choices in cable TV and internet provider was pretty bad. You only had one option...and the prices were high for not so great service. The ladies in the office were pretty nice. There were two maintainence workers that I saw...an older guy who was friendly, and a younger guy who was not so friendly. All in all, I wouldn't recommend River's Bend. It probably was pretty nice at one time, but the condition of the apartments show some real wear and tear.

I lived at River's Bend for over 2 years and recently moved due to a job transfer. Many people with my company also lived there during the same time frame and none of us and any problems with roaches. Every apartment I had visited also had a cable outlet in the living room and bedroom, including my own apartment. The office and maintenance staff are very helpful and friendly and get things done in a timely manner. I enjoyed my stay here and being new to the area at the time they were very helpful in making my stay pleasant. I would refer my own mother to live here.
