Sterling Glen seems like a nice place on the outside, but once you move out you get hit with hidden damage charges that end up costing you your entire deposit. They told us that due to smoke damage after only 6 months of living there that we would have to pay out of pocket because our deposit would not cover the "duct cleaning" that was "required" because the new tenant was "complaining about the smell." Also, before we moved out someone knocked on our door asking us how we liked it there and that they were moving in after us. The office staff gave out our address which is against the rules. Don't let them screw you over like they did us! Hunters Chase Apts are a wonderful place to live without all the office drama that Sterling Glen has.

This cracks me up when you smoke that much that you have discoloration of the blinds and you have burn marks all over the carpet in just 6 months what do you expect. When you hit a car in the parking lot and leave the scene causing you some drama who is to blame? Tell the truth it will make you a better person!

well i would like to comment on this. when you signed your lease, did you not read about the deposit? sterling glen should keep your deposit and then some if needed if you have all this damage that you say you do. sterling glen is very fair. and about the drama, i believe the people working at sterling glen are working and dont have time to get involved in drama. i know whenever i go in the office, everyone there is very busy. sterling glen gives all new tenants thier new address. wouldnt you want to have that information so you can change your address on your bills and forward your address at the post office, ect.? it is NOT sterling glens fault that a new tenant knocked on your door and asked you how you liked it there. sterling glen does NOT screw people over!!!!!! the staff is very nice and professional. and about hunters chase, i lived there and would never live there again.

I live in Sterling Glen and find the fee's very reasonable. We just moved to a larger apartment after living here 18 mos and we did not encounter any extra fees. If you clean your apartment and take care of things you should not end up losing your deposit. You can't just move out and leave all kinds of damage that is not normal wear and tear. I have not heard any good things about Hunters Chase including from my own daughter who lived there.
