are monitored by staff and comments left are also made by staff, which undermines the whole point of making a review.....

Of course they are. Any reasonable manager or staff of an apartment community would monitor these reviews. How else are they going to see if there is anything they can improve on. Why are you too afraid to leave your name. I am not staff I am a tenant and have found some of these reviews on here utterly ridiculous. Most of the people complaining are ones who were evicted, lost their deposit because they left their apartment in bad shape or have been cited for numerous rules being broken. Everything is explained to you before you sign your lease and is also stated in your lease. Unless you were not paying attention and or neglected to ever read your lease prior to signing you would not be surprised when you moved out.
