On April 25, 2009, I was on the Internet and decided to go into the Web Site Apartmentratings.com and look up my Apartment Complex. I was stunned to read the comments written by one resident. I'm a true believer in everyone having a right to their opinion for I too have mine and will express mine here and now. I am also a true believer that your opinion is yours and should not be expressed as if everyone is in agreement with you.
With this person's opinion of how beautiful the grounds and area are kept, I'm in complete agreement.
With this person's opinion of the Staff, I truly differ! I have never found Bettina rude or inconsiderate. She has always been willing to listen to me and my problems. I'm not saying she would always readily agree or disagree with me. I was told she would certainly look into the problem and would do what she could about it. Sincere also has always been concerned and willing to check it out. They are the Staff and not the owners and they have a job to take our problems to Management. Whatever the Management feels is the way to handle a certain problem is the way they have to resolve it. Most of us have had to work for someone and know we have to follow their rules if we wish to hold a job. It may not always be the way we thought it should be. We all have days when we may not feel as bubbly as someone that we meet that day. When we had our big snow storm a few weeks ago, we were called by the STAFF and asked if we were all right and did we need anything. They would put our trash out if left outside of our door or pick up our mail, etc. just let them know.
Oh, and this person's opinion that the people that live here are horrible, I found very offensive. I have lived here for nine years and have gotten to know a lot of the residents through the festivities planned by the STAFF to give the residents a chance to meet one another and form friendships, and friends I have met and learned to love and they are beautiful people.
I, and I have heard many of my friends say, how thankful they are to have the police and firemen so close. The STAFF and residents invite them to many of our festivities and they come and talk to us about our neighborhood and what we can do to help ourselves and our surroundings. In fact, just a few month's ago the police came to have breakfast with us ( which by the way we have every Tuesday morning) they commended the STAFF and the residents on our watchful eyes and helpful ways to keep our little community safe. They stated that the trouble calls to the Oaks of Dunlop were few in comparison to other calls they received for other areas.and most of those were for help in sickness.
Yes, Highway 95 does run along side of the Apartments. I do not have an apartment on the side close to the highway, I cannot complain. I have friends that do live on that side but have never heard any of them complain unless something unusual happened and that has never been very often. I do sympathize with this person on this comment and sincerely hope that when they move they find the perfect apartment. I'm sure if the STAFF or Management could do anything about this problem they would. You just can't stop progress.

I'm glad you highlighted everything in my post. Loud music, FLEAS infested, $4,000 to get out of your lease. Next time if your going to rebuttal, please make to sure to mention all the key points, not just yours. Also, they've scammed you for 9 years, I bet they are nice! They've made almost $90,000 off of you. For us "younger" people who don't stay for nine years, well... the attitudes were less than friendly. I didn't write that entire post for someone else to come back and tell me it's not true because guess what, it is. I wouldn't be surprised if this was Bettina herself! SIDE NOTE FOR STAFF: The people you think like you, really don't.
