August 2005 we moved into Friendship Heights. It was a one-bedroom basement apartment. There were times when the neighbors got a bit rambunctous while watching sports. When I approached the management about other difficulties, such as their dogs barking a lot, and especially when I was a day sleeper, the management actively sought to remedy my issues. We were offered another apartment! I have been in a 3-bedroom, first floor apartment since May of 2006. I love my apartment! Maintenance comes when I call, even if it's a problem at night. The staff has been very caring and seeks to always improve the living experience for all. Yes, there are times when the children get a bit rowdy, but that is handled rather quickly. I have found that just reminding them to walk in the breezeways and to keep conversation down while in the breezeways has merited both respect and consideration from them and me. Some of these reviews I have read speak about how horrible living here has been for them. If it's been that bad, then perhaps they didn't avail themselves of reporting problems. Anyone who tries to convince me that they are moving out because of the way things are here, I have found, are usually being evicted or their name has been in the paper under the police reports. Our neighborhood is one of the safest I have ever lived in. I have lived in a variety of situations and on both the east and west coast. I plan to stay here as long as possible. Why mess with a good thing' No me!
