Noise Levels Intolerable

For brand new apartments, the soundproofing on these units is nonexistent. Street noise was bad enough, but when you can hear everything (and I mean everything) that goes on in your neighbor's apartments as if they're in the same room with you, it's bad. I finally could not take it any longer and decided to break my lease with many months still left.
I found the unit I was in to be poorly designed in terms of storage space. Phone and TV jacks are situated in odd locations.
The security gates are a major pain but are left open half the time anyway. There is only one trash compactor for the entire complex. Most people not in buildings closest to the compactor drive to the compactor to dispose of their rubbish.
Most of the time you can't find anyone in the management office. And it once took two weeks to respond to a simple maintenance request.
On the positive side, the clubhouse, fitness center, pool, and community social activities are very good (but you pay an extra fee for these). The washers and dryers in the apartments are large-capacity and are excellent.
Overall, I would say that while from the outside the Remington looks like an excellent, high-end place to live and is certainly priced that way, it is quite a different experience living there. I would not recommend it to anyone.
