Nice place to live, but wouldn't want to own it.

Maintenance stinks. It was toted as a "gated community." Six months after moving in, they took the gates off because residents were breaking them. Silverfish are abundant. Siding was hanging off and it took maintenance 1.5 years to fix. During this year's snowstorm, snow and ice was bearly plowed (the back entrance not plowed at all) and all the snow and ice was placed in the handicap parking spots. The trash area is always a mess by careless residents.
Don't even ASK about the screening room! They don't have the remote, which makes watching DVDs nearly impossible. The room is not adequately ventilated, and in the summer, the room gets too warm and shuts off the projector. There is no way to turn the air conditioning on to cool off the room. I had to have 15 people come up to my apartment to watch the rest of the movie.
Obviously, the staff have no control over the problems, and can do nothing but sympathize. The old manager was rude. The new one is a gem! And there's one salesman in the office with glasses who should be sent to sensitivity training.
