Not only is the property management shady, the whole damn neighborhood has just gone to hell. Everything you may here about Marva/Marba, whatever the her freakin name is...is all pretty much true, read all reviews. The way they got me into the complex was shady to say the least. My now wife and I moved in back in January and have regretted it since. I was the only one to sign the lease...Marva wouldn't allow my wife's income to count towards the minimum requirements because at the time, we weren't married yet. What kind of crap is that'!' At first glance, the property looked pretty good and nothing seemed to be amiss...then we moved in. The apartment that you will see is much larger than what your going to get. Godforbid if your rent is late...after paying AHEAD of time every month, my wife and I fell on hard times while she was in between jobs and as soon as we were over ten days late, immediate legal action was taken against us...we had to pay 50% more than usual to TAMCO...even after being "Johnny on the spot" every freakin month! Many of the people that live here are pretty good people, but with the good, is the bad. I have come home from work many times and cops are everywhere. Hell, there was a shooting only a couple of weeks ago! A couple of my neighbors are the most disrespectful SOBs on the planet...the one above me never sleeps, apparently doesn't know how to walk coorrectly, and doesn't know that at midnight its probably a bad idea to be blasting the music throughout the entire building. I don't who it is, but I know they are below me, but their kids are the most disrespectful, lying little jokers I have ever come across. My wife caught them climbing on my truck and tells me about it. I go outside to correct the situation and the mother has the jewels to me that my wife is lying to me!

Also the parking just plain sucks and the towing scam is a nightmare!!!

Pretty much this is the worst place I have ever lived (aside from a few people that I have met and just happen to be upstanding humsn beings)and trust me, from a US Marine's point of view, I have lived in some of the nastiest, God forsaken places on this earth and none have taken the cake such as this.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

i agree. doesn't sound like much has changed since i lived there 15 years ago. i cannot believe marva is still there. apparently virginia has a real ancient backward law that says single people of the opposite sex aren't supposed to be live together unless they are married.

Yes I know this is the worst place that anyone could ever move to. I live there right now and am on my way out thank goodness. Don't move here trust me Big Mistake. What he says is true and there is more and it only gets worse and worse. It is no one's business who you live with. That is your own choice. You are grown adults. That is some craziness for real... All I can say is DON'T MOVE here!!!
