I have lived here for 1 1/2 yrs now. The first year on Islip Loop was fine, no problems. I signed a new lease for a different floor plan on Allerton Court in March. I regret the move and the lease. The kids run the neighborhood. Management has done nothing. They post signs saying they will evict anyone whose children cause problems but they don't evict them. Many residents have complained and no action at all has been taken. I can not even walk from my car to my door without some form of harassment by pre-teens and teenagers. They play in the street, parking lot around cars, and the stair ways. If you ask them to play somewhere else, they yell, scream, and threaten you. The police have been called on numerous occasions, but they can't do anything to the kids. Most of the time, the parents aren't even home, so the police dont even get to speak with them.

They form large groups in the parking lot and stand in the street so that cars cannot pass or get thru. They play kickball and dodge ball in the parking lot, using cars for bases or safety zones.

They hang out in front of people's apartments sitting on air conditioning units and tearing up the landscaping.

They make sure they wait until management leaves for the day before partaking in these activities.

These kids are vindictive and extremely brave.
