I went to see the apartments because I heard of how nice they were....and they are beautiful, however I was very disturbed when I talk to a resident who told me there have been many incidents where the police had to come to the property. The resident also mention of the incidents the police were called was because people had guns. I'm not to sure of the safety of my family if there are people with guns living here and police are being called frequently.

You are right on point with the police issue. You are not referring to another complex. The police were called for an incident involving a resident's ex-boyfriend he was threatening her and her guest and the police were called and they had a standoff with him with their guns drawn and ran from them into the woods. I was there saw the entire incident go down. Obviously, the other residents are in total denial or have no idea of what is going on in their neighborhood. This was not the only time the police came to the neighborhood and I don't mean the one that lives here either.

"Not 2 be nice", you sound like you came on here with bad intentions. But you know what?? I contacted the police department (703) 792-6500, and there has been no such report. So no one is in denial sweetie. You sound a little bitter. Pay your rent on time??

I have lived here for almost a year myself and being such a small complex I would think I would have heard about this as well but didn't. Yeah sounds like bad intentions to me too.

not2benice, I've got to call the good old "bs" flag on your statement. Either you're lying about witnessing the incident, or severely over exaggerating what really happened. As a real witness to what happened you are only partially correct in the fact there was a disturbance with an ex-boyfriend. It was loud, yes, and it woke me up in the middle of the night. However, the ex left (in his car mind you) BEFORE the police even showed up. There were no weapons brandished, and there was no chase in the woods. The police then found the guy on a traffic stop later that night. As for other police activity, there was a party last summer that got a bit out of control (not the pool party), and you will always have your "noisy neighbor" calls. All in all, we live in an apartment complex for Christ's sake. There's a lot of people living in one building, and no matter how nice the area, there's always going to be someone that get's pissed off at their neighbor. Moral of the story, don't tell anyone here they're in denial. I'm pretty sure everyone know's what happens around there. As far as the guns go, there are PLENTY of guns at Wyndham Pointe. There's SIX of them ranging from rifles, to shotguns, to pistols in my apartment alone. They are locked up in a very sturdy safe, unloaded, chambers cleared. It is legal for someone to have a gun, but if that makes you nervous, go ahead and move to a communist country. Enough of my yapping, I've gotta get ready for the pool to open this weekend!!!!
