I was flabergasted when I read the preceding comment earlier today. So hesitantly I waited to place a comment myself so I could find out if this "gun and police" comment was true. (Granted I have lived here for a year and never seen or heard police sirens. I thought possibly that I had missed a wild night, maybe while I was on vacation or long weekend etc. My neighbor is a Prince William County police officer and we speak ever so often in passing. To say the least I waited today to catch him to see if there was any truth to this story. Not only to make myself feel better, but before I posted a comment and made myself look like a fool, I wanted to be sure. So there I stand at my mailbox pretending to check my mail. Much to my relief the officer chuckled when I first mentioned it. He said that he would be the first to know any situation involving guns on the property. He also mentioned that if it would make me feel any better, that this is one of the best apartment communities in this area, and that is why HE even chose to live here. He said all apartment complexes receive police calls. Wyndham is no exception. (Noise calls etc.) He said that I should contact the police department anytime and they would advise the same and let me know what calls or reports they have of any police activity on the Wyndham property. WHEEEEW! I feel better now. Not sure what was going on with the person who commented, maybe disgruntled etc. Everyone has an opinion but there is a fine line between your opinion and facts.
I live on the top floor, so I don't have any complaints with noise. Maintenance has always been great when I've needed them. Also the office staff is very professional and super nice. I think after reading through alot of different communities comments I've come to the realization you just can't make everyone happy. Wyndham seems pretty lucky with only the few negative comments they have. You should check out some others! I can only and will only comment based on my experience and what a few of my neighbors have mentioned as their experiences. I absolutely have nothing negative to say and have never heard any negative comments until reading what I have on apartment ratings. My advise... check the facts before making your decision.

good advice nanri04. disgruntled is probably exactly what was going on with that person. i've been there 3 years and really do like it.
