This apartment community is good in many aspects (location, free shuttle to the metro, maintenance, and the price isn't horrible but is on the rise) however, there are some problems worth noting. The biggest problem is parking. There are few spots available and many of the apartments seem to be filled with several residents, which leads to several cars. In an effort to amend the situation, they have only made it worse. Now there is "visitor" parking which the residents can't park in. This makes no sense when there are too few spots in the complex and the actual residents can't get a spot. The spots that they have reserved for the visitors are also the prime parking spots. In addition, they have a tow company come in to check for people illegally parking and end up towing all of the desperate residents' cars who can't find a spot. The staff is nice but common sense seems to be evading them on this particular issue.

The only other problem that we have noticed is that the insulation for the apartment is either horrible or nonexistent. Running the heat or the air conditioner seems futile as it is very difficult to find a comfortable temperature that won't bankrupt you in electricity costs. Thank goodness there are several large windows for ventilation and cross breeze.

Other than that, the place is pretty clean, the neighbors seem pretty friendly, and let's face it, it is an apartment complex and I have yet to find a place that is perfect.
