I have lived in the Archstone for 6 months now and have had no major problems. I would have to say the biggest was placing a maintenence call and not hearing from or seeing anyone for a week after numerous calls. That put a bad taste in my mouth. I have to say the kitchen and bathrooms need some work done along with the cleaning of stairwells. I would like to commment though on the review "Slums of Fair Lakes". I myself have a pet and I don't find anything more annoying then to see dog poop EVERYWHERE!!!! There should be no such thing as a "dog poo cleaner" or whatever you called it. It is ones own responsibility to pick up after their own pet. It's rude not to and also against the law. You can bet that I don't have a problem turning someone in and having them smacked with a $250 fine for leaving sh*@ lying around. That was just an arrogant comment.

I would not make the Archstone my "home". I'd have to say it's a good "holding" place until I buy.
