I'm moving soon (shacking up with my boyfriend), but have had an overall positive experience at the Arbors. I have been here since 2004 when it was still an Archstone. Management has changed about 5 or 6 times since then, and now Bozzuto is running the show. Yes I've had some problems with management... catastrophic' No. In general it has been a fine experience. I started out in one of the older unrenovated roommate apartments, and am now in one of the renovated ones. I won't speak of the previous management companies, since it isn't remarkably helpful.
First, happy thoughts. I love the layout of my apartment. The renovated ones are quite nice, not granite countertops, but still nice. My tub is older, but in my old apartment my tub looked better, so its hit or miss there. Washer and Dryer in unit, new appliances, and an A/C unit that is REALLY good... we like it cold in the summer, and have had few problems with heating or cooling, outside of the bills. The complex is very pretty, nestled in the trees, and VERY quiet. I have hardly ever heard my neighbors.
Bozzuto has been sort of good. Some maintenance requests are taken care of immediately, and some aren't. That's just the deal. Often they will fix the problem without leaving a note, so you aren't sure if they have fixed it or not. They are fairly ---- about things that aren't remarkably important, like unused deck furniture on the porch in the winter. I got a special note because I had some stacked chairs that I was trying to protect from the weather. But at least they are concerned with how the complex looks. Also they had us adding addendums to the lease for about 3 months (not more money, just more papers), and didn't get us a copy for 5 months... huh' In general they are fairly friendly. Beware of confusing notes from management though. Might need a linguistics degree to figure out what they say.
When they changed the parking policy we lost a lot of parking spots. Although it's nice to not have to get passes for your guests, it is a pain to come home late after a long day and have to walk a far distance to your car (and I'm a teacher so I usually have A LOT of stuff.
So here's the deal. If you are an easy going person, you will LOVE it here. If you are high stress, then you might have some issues with management. Outside of maintenance requests (which are largely unnecessary in renovated apartments) and the silly lease stuff, it is a nice complex. I would recommend it to anyone. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn

We are not on a top floor at Camden Monument and the walking noise above us gets too loud, especialy at night. We like the Arbors price, amenities, and location. My question for you is: (if you are not on a top floor) do you hear any noise above your apartment that keeps you up at night?

We were on the bottom floor, and I never really noticed the guy upstairs... I generally am at least somewhat tolerant of apartment noise, but I never specifically was kept up because of any noise. It was a very good experience. I suppose it would depend more on your neighbors, but I didn't feel the walls were super thin or anything like that.
