Absolutely awful... that?s the only way I can think to describe my experience at Archstone, or Arch-hole, as my roommate has named it.
The complex is poorly lit, and even after repeated complaints, the lights have not been fixed.
They never refill the doggie bags.
During the winter, they decided to "fix" the water heaters in my building. Apparently, while they were doing this, the gas was affected. For that reason, we had NO HEAT for over two weeks. They gave us one paltry electric heater for a 2 bedroom apartment! We finally had to complain to the management company, after which they gave us two more heaters. Gee, thanks. And the new water heater' The water gets cold in no time now... it was fine before.
The leasing office staff is completely unfriendly, and were downright rude many times.
During the big snowstorm, they barely removed any snow. After a cursory plowing early on, they never cleaned any of the parking spots, even during the day when people weren?t home. So these spots just remained unusable until the snow (all 2 feet of it) melted.
Icy sidewalks' They never clean them.
They?ve been trying to renovate the outside of the buildings, but instead, it just looks like crap because of the peeling paint and unfinished wood.
This place is just terrible. The appliances are old and malfunction, the walls are paper thin, and the service is horrible. I recommend that everyone just stay away. It may seem nice when you first visit, but in reality it?s awful.
