Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
Ill list the Cons since they seem to stick out more than the pros:
The walls suck at noise reduction. I had a few people over to watch a movie, and my downstairs neighbor ( I live on the 4th floor ) comes up to tell us we were making too much noise ?moving around?. Considering we were just.. walking around, I?m going to have to say thats poor building structure.
The building is in poor condition. The steps, and the general area I walk in to get to my apartment looks crappy, with the paint peeling everywhere and the wood above my entrance is cracked with a large panel hanging down.
The washer / dryer sucks. I can wash like 3 shirts at a time and I have to run EVERYTHING through the dryer twice. The dryer is just total garbage.
Parking is weak. If I come home late I have to circle around and park like 60 yards from my entrance way. Walking 60 yards in the dark doesnt bother me, but I wouldn?t want my mom doing it.
Construction has been going on across the street for months. This might not be an issue in the future, but currently, getting woken up by large power equipment at 8:00 in the morning on a saturday kind of sucks.
My neighbors are slobs who leave ---- in the hallways. They posted a sign that says not to do this.. I guess they could be illiterate slobs.
The Goods:
Close to highways, close to mall.
Service seems pretty good, when I call for it.
