There is a blond headed guy who works in the main office, anytime you go to retrieve your UPS mail or have any questions, the punk never smiles and always looks like he could care less what you're talking about, highly unprofessional and unwelcoming. The women at the front office are very nice, but the guys, thats another story.

Second, I understand that Avalon has to fix up the apartments after someone leaves, but my GOD, the noise level is so loud its unbareable. The workers could care less whether your home or not, as Im writing this now, they've been banging their hammers on my ceiling for the past 1 hour, and hard, not little taps but hard banging, I have no idea what the hell they are doing.

At 7am this morning, I was awoken by the sounds of what sounded like something heavy being dragged on the floor from the upstairs apartment. NOBODY likes to be waken up by noise from another apartment, but 7am' What the hell, don't these people have instructions to maybe wait until people start to wake up before they start banging and basically waking up the entire building'

Outside of the construction noise, the walls and the insulation is beyond pathetic. You don't have a clock or alarm' Don't worry because the lady upstairs will wake you up when she gets up. Every door closing, everytime someone opens the fridge, closes a drawer, takes a shower, walks across the floor, YOU WILL HEAR EVERYTHING. This is not an exageration. I know someone people say well all apartment complexes are like that, NO, they are not. I came here from Oakton Park in Fairfax and I never heard 1 sound, except for minor noises here and there. It is really pathetic here.

Location is great, your right next to a major shopping center, Best Buy, DSW, Toys R Us, Modells, and countless other shops so your pretty much good to go for shopping purposes.

My advice, look around before you come here. They get you with the 1 month free thing and the apartment complex looks nice, but the overall construction of these apartments are pathetic, especiall when your dishing out anywhere from 1300-1500 a month on rent and utilities. By the way, I'll be moving out when my lease is up in July.

I can also hear my neighbors all hours of the day- dog barking, neighbor taking a shower, neighbor's washing machine etc. The funniest one is my neighbor and her hubby/bf. One time I was in the bathroom late at night. These guys had been... ahem... intimate and came to their bathroom. They started talking "things" that I could clearly hear sitting on my throne :)
