I enjoyed my experience living at the Summit. The only thing I had a problem was when we moved out. They will charge you for anything, and eveything. We were there for only a year. When we moved in they had put BRAND NEW carpet in, and charged us when we moved out for it to be cleaned (apparently it was dirty). We did not have pets either. They also charged us for 2 lightbulbs that were out in the 2nd bathroom, so be sure to call maintainence to replace then BEFORE you move out. Which makes no sense for them to charge you when you move out, because if you have them come while you are still a resident they do not charge you for anything that needs to be fixed. So they definatly try to get as much money out of you as they can.
I would also request to live on the top floor, you can hear eveything. We lived on the 3rd floor, and our neighbors above us would vacuume at 1 am, or would be playing loud music at that time also. When you work 9-5 it's a little frustrating. We had to complain at least 3 times before it stopped. If you find that Summit does not do anything about noisy neighbors then you can call the Police, that is what they told us. Quiet hours for Fairfax County are from 11pm to either 6 or 7 am.
Other than those 2 things living there was enjoyable, I would reccomend it to friends.
