From the piles of dog crap, to the mountian of garbage by the compactor, to the loads of garbage that the management company will feed you, dont even waste your time! The appliances break down, the trash compactor never works, the construction is horrible, the pipes burst and cause flooding, the "putting green" looks like crap and isn't taken care of, the "movie theater" hasn't worked in a year, the "business center" consists of 2 computers with printers that don't work - and only ONE of them gets internet access, the "movie library" has movies from the 80's, and they are all VHS, no DVD's... who still uses VHS', the "indoor basketball court" is overrun by local kids that trash it everyday and break the hoop or the net, the manager and office staff are the most FAKE people on earth. They'll do almost anything to get you to rent there, but once you've signed that lease, watch out. They couldn't care less. Until its time to renew, THEN they're nice again. And the manager is never available to talk to. And the staff never has anything to do, so they're playing games like "connect four" (look around, you'll see it pushed to the side on a desk). The maintenance guys lie to you, if they can't fix something they will just tell you they've ordered parts for it, and keep you waiting for months.
And to top it off, the rents are REDICULOUS. Why would someone pay tons of money to get tons of NOTHING in return'

I think it would help if the office staff at least seemed sympathetic to resident issues. Acting like they cared would help and I have no idea who the property manager is, never available

I actually saw a memo on a desk in the rental office reminding the staff that "we work for Summit Fair Lakes, NOT for the residents." That was kind of scary.
