When my lease was up the rent was raised by over $200, so I left. Interestingly, the increase on the slip I received at my apartment was less than the amount I was quoted when I stopped by the office. I didn't have any real problems with my apartment, so I didn't interact much with the maintenance staff after the initial walkthrough. They were always pleasant when I saw them around the complex, however. The office staff were not friendly after I signed my contract. Neighbors were very pleasant and helpful when it came time to digging out cars from the snow. The location is hard to beat, which is the real strength of this complex. The trash, as others have mentioned, is unacceptable. I found myself holding onto my trash until I saw that the dumpster was finally emptied. Apartment layouts are well designed. Parking situation depends on which building you live in.
