The only good thing about living here is the location. Other than that, the rent is way too high for what you get. Forget about kind, courteous and knowledgeable staff in the rental office because they don't exist here. They are so money hungry that they only care about actually renting the units out, but they don't seem to care who they rent to. Once your are a tenant, you're history to them. There are one and two bedroom units that are occupied by several families which is against their policy, but they are more than happy to turn a blind eye in order to rent out the unit and collect the ridiculous amount of rent they charge. There have been a couple of drug dealers living in our building that have since been evicted. Carpets are never cleaned and we know this since our carpet was disgusting when we moved in. Other units around us have had multiple tenants moving in and out and we never once witnessed the carpet being changed out even after three different tentants had multiple pets living with them. Whatever you do, DO NOT EVER pay your rent one day early!!!! They WILL cash your check and then tell you it's not their problem when you have other checks/charges bounce even though the dimwits in the rental office don't seem to have a clue that cashing two huge rent checks in one month could pose a problem!! Maintenance will take a week or two or three depending on what you need done. Unless you have water gushing all over your apartment, don't count on them getting to you anytime soon. The garbage issue is a disaster. Nice piles of trash are strewn about the entrance of the property every weekend. You will have to pay an additional charge of $30 per month for their trash valet service. Think twice about it if you are planning on moving here. Although somewhat aesthetically pleasing at first glance, you will only be a number to them once you sign that dotted line. We're counting down the days for our lease to end!!

Having moved out of this place a couple of years ago, I returned back for a visit to the area. I was appalled at the garbage situation, and aside from the outside painting/updates to the buildings, it seems by the postings on this site that it continues to go downhilll even with the cange in ownership from Summit to Camden.

There was a shooting outside our apartment in 2008; someone fired several shots in the middle of the night, and eventually we heard sirens when the cops came to investigate. We complained to the office about the lack of safety, and they shrugged it off.
