I lived in the Camden Fairlakes apartments for two years and all of the bad things people are saying are true. We moved in at the end of January of 2005. It snowed the evening we moved in, about 6 inches or so maybe and was really cold outside. Our heat, fireplace, stove were all broken when we moved in. That made for a very cold couple of days. We later found out our washing machine was broken also. The trash situation was horrible. I wasn't surprised to hear that there were rats found in the trash area. I actually filed a complaint with the Fairfax County department of health, which they never responded to. The management there is only concerned with taking your money. They are nice and helpful until you sign a lease and move in, after that they couldn't care less. Please save yourself a lot of problems and do not live here!
