This wasn't like having the bubonic plague living here for a year, but it was a bit of a trial...and I came here from college dorms. The parking will be your WORST problem. The tow trucks patrol the lot the minute the guest parking runs and if your guests are 20 minutes late, they WILL be towed. My boyfriend stopped spending the night after his first tow, which is a major quality of life issue.
Maintenance was decent except when our ceiling leaked at one point and it took my roomie like three weeks to get it fixed. The walls are also a bit thin. A couple across the hall had domestic violence issues and we knew. My roomie was a partier, and the neighbors knew. You get the idea. The staff wasn't horrible, but they ARE sticlers....I was once LITERALLY three hours late with the rent and they noticed and charged me almost 100 bucks so be punctual.
Basically nothing was really wrong here but there were a bunch of minor annoyances. Oh at one point our parking lot had robbers cuz the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. I lived here for a year because it was what I could afford, and my guess is that if you are like me you will find the experience totally adequate but not overwhelming.
