First, you should be VERY glad you found this site! If I had known about it, I would have never moved here.

Now, you'll definitely find more negative reviews generally on this website for apartments. People who are upset/disgruntled are inclined to complain more. However, 17% recommended and an average score below 2 for Circle Towers should tell you something about this apartment.

Here's a pretty objective breakdown of the positives and negatives in this apartment complex:


NEGATIVES:
- noisy: walls are ridiculously thin. units are laid out so that bedrooms from 2 different units share the same wall. if you want to hear your neighbor cough, sneeze, talk, have sex then you'll love it here.

- parking: you or your guests car WILL get towed at least once.

- amenities: very old gym, dirty swimming pool, tennis court is a joke, and what basketball court'

- elevators never work in this 12 story building

- utilites are NOT submetered! you'll pay for other people's usage. That means your utility bills in the summer and winter will be $200 plus for a 1 bedroom. You could've used that money to find a better apartment!!!!

- management: HORRIBLE. extremely rude. They will charge you over $100 if they misplace your rent check, and it becomes overdue. And the worst thing about all this, and I think Mario was the manager who did this; he's RUDE about all of it.

- garage: leaks rust on your car.

- safety: lots of crime reported when i was there

- fire alarms: about every other month, someone will burn something in the apartment, setting off the alarm for the whole building, the fire truck will come, you have to evacuate... and i'm talking at 2 in the morning here... just about every other month... no exageration... i have the pictures to prove it.

poor insulation: during the winter, you can actually FEEL the cold wind blowing through your close window. Think about how much energy is being wasted here.

POSITIVES:
maintenance: they were very friendly/courteous and timely.

staff: the leasing agents, people who work at the customer service office are usually very nice.

location: this location was extremely convenient for me.

the previous review said sandi the property manager was rude. actually, my experience with her has been rather pleasant. she must have been promoted recently, and i think that's well deserved. or maybe it's a different sandi.


All in all, I would beg you not to move in here. But hopefully this review should give you some information you can work with. There are definitely much better apartments out there. And it should definitely be worth paying a few bucks more for a better apartment. The rent here may be relatively cheap, but don't be fooled. The cost of living here is much more expensive, and for that cost, you can find a much better place.
