I wrote my original review in 2008 when I was shocked beyond my own comprehension with the nonsensical and grotesque conditions I was faced with after moving into this bottomless pit. There are very select reviewers (who seem to be the office staff) who seem to want to blame the defective conditions on the reviewers; um, excuse me, really Let me break it down for people who want to hear real stories from real people who actually lived in this sick place and for those of you who are current residents, well, this will simply be an review of your everyday life.

1. The appliances in the homes are beyond ancient. The painting job of the walls, closets, bathrooms are less than clumsy. The handy work done on the overall interior is just mediocre and sloppy. Make sure you check your carpets before you move in because there's a chance they may be harboring bed bugs, roaches, mites, etc. For the exterior, the balconies usually are coated with pigeon excrements which usually stains the balcony paint with a nice gray-tan coating and the townhomes are painted with a nice poop-brown colored paint. Very classy and so "luxury".

2. The parking here is a mess. Expect to have your car, or your visiting friends-relatives cars towed atleast twice. Circle Towers have a inside deal with Dominion Towing and the towing company takes no hesitation in taking cars off the property. If you park in the garage, expect to have your vehicle covered in all kinds of ordures because the garage is prehistoric with terrible pipe work, which leaks various kinds of fluids all over your car. Compliments of Circle Towers. :)

3. The office staff. Oooh, the happy-smiling-lovely office staff. They are going to ride you around the property in their little cute golf cart, offer you coffee and/or tea, and maybe free rent for an month or two. They will make you feel all warm and good inside. Take a mental picture and remind yourself for later purposes that you allowed them to manipulate you to live here. Sign that contract for a year and say bye-bye, adios, and ciao to those happy thoughts. It shocks me how efficiently the office staff is able to change face and do a complete 180 after you have legally promised you will live on the property. The office staff in my experience, was insufficient, dreadful, dissatisfactory, and deficient. Maintenance work: is done really carelessly because basically, they just want to provide very basic service during the time you are contracted to live here. Expect to wait 48 hours to an week for your work order to be completed.

4. Pests: This gets a whole category of it's own. Bedbugs The only bedbugs I knew growing up was in the old saying, "Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!" HA! That saying took an whole new meaning during my stay at Circle Towers. The entire property is infested and beset with bed bug infestations. As a matter of fact, I heard from a friend of mine who still lives there that recently, they've started to go into homes with dogs to sniff out bedbugs. It's sick. It's demented. It's wrong. Roaches I had not seen an roach in over an decade until I moved into the property. Just thinking about the many months we had to cohabit our home with roaches make me cringe even now. Rats and mice I hope you enjoy the company of furry little friends because you will come across Stuart Little and/or Remy from Ratatouille, during your pleasant stay here. The rats and mice are an added bonus to your living costs here because you get to have pets without paying pet rent. How nifty, right'

Bottom line: For those of you who plan to move here, best of luck. Thank yourself for not being pious and taking the words of current and former residents. For those of you currently living in this "hell hole", I sympathize with you. Believe in yourself and have hope that one day, you will be able to escape from this ill ridden place. As for me and my wife' We are gone. So gone from this place.

regretful_2008, why dont you threaten management like i did with legal action. They are scared to death of being dragged into court. They immediatly broke my lease with no penalty and refunded my deposit. All you have to do is start documenting your complaints with Michele (shes the property manager and knows what a dump it is she also knows that in court she'd lose) After the 3rd complaint I threatened to pay my rent into a trust fund at the fairfax courthouse. ( this is legal and where a judge will decide how much rent circle towers will get compaired to the complaints you document). Once you go down this path circle towers is powerless to do anything. they cant evict you so they immediatly break your lease so they dont lose any more money then they have to. In virginia Renters (tenants do have legal rights)and can sue the landlord. regretful -- get out of there-- dont continue to wait for your lease to be up........
