Overcrowded, Vermin-infested, and Noisy

Overcrowded: As other reviewers have said, it's very clear that there are far too many people living in the complex as a whole. The office's policy is to give one key card per lease-holder, but there are constantly people standing outside the front doors who need to be let in, therefore they're not on the lease and there's no way there are this many visitors constantly coming and going. This is also how all of the solicitors get in. I have people knocking on my door trying to sell things or leaving junk flyers under my door daily. It's awful that people think it's okay to just open the front doors for anybody. I do not feel safe even inside the complex.
As a result of the extreme overcrowding here, the towers are completely infested.

Vermin: I'm shocked that more people haven't written about the extent of vermin at Circle Towers.
Pigeons - yeah it might sound ridiculous, but the pigeons are a real problem here. Hoards of pigeons perch on the balconies and fly between buildings. They purr and hoot at all hours and the constant flapping of their wings is really loud and disruptive. Not only do they ---- all over the balconies, but the management doesn't clean the balconies before you move in. They are covered in pigeon filth and are a serious health problem.
Mice - there are mice everywhere! In your apartment, in the stairwells, in the laundry rooms, the garages, trash chute rooms, EVERYWHERE. Telling the leasing office doesn't help either- they have put traps OUTSIDE but that is it. When I tell them everytime I see a mouse their response is always something like "oh fantastic" or "that's lovely" never an apology or reassurance that they'll take care of it.
Cockroaches - The cockroaches are so bad that I have been keeping all of my food in plastic Rubbermaid containers for the entirety of my stay here. Even doing the dishes immediately and cleaning the kitchen daily doesn't help. I've complained several times and they sprayed my apartment ONCE without prior notice and just left a note on the door that it had been done. What if I had cats or other pets in my apartment' They could have gotten really sick from the pesticides. Either way, the roaches have kept coming, and they will continue to come unless Circle Towers choose to spray the whole complex at once and stick with it.
Silverfish - They too are everywhere. Granted, they're not as disgusting as cockroaches, but they certainly add to the ick factor of this place.
Bedbugs - They have infested my mattress and box spring. I've wrapped them both in plastic to try to kill as many as I can. When I leave, I'm getting a new mattress and bedding for my new place and my old mattress is staying behind. Bed bugs are notoriously hard to get rid of too, but Circle Towers isn't even trying.

Noise: The pipes make awful feedback noises at all hours.
I would say that about 50% of the tenants are college students, so along with that comes all-night partying and music. This is not the place to raise a family. People also set off fire alarms at all hours of the night and fire trucks show up weekly. There are also a lot of domestic disputes which sound violent and there is often a police car out front on weekend nights.

Leasing Office: These people are incapable of handling both their leasing agent duties and upkeep of the complex. They need to have two separate offices like most normal apartment complexes. They are outrageously understaffed and the current staff always puts visitors first. I've had to wait 20 minutes or more so many times just to pick up a package while an agent is right there ignoring me while they try to make a sale. The apartment manager is clueless too. She ignores emails and residents' complaints.

Please just stay away from this place and spend a little more money somewhere else. Saving $50 a month is not worth it when you have to put up with losing food because bugs have gotten into it or having to replace your mattress when you leave.
