Great Choice!

I lived here 1.5 years so far, and intend to stay until my life demands I move elsewhere. Overall, this a great place to live, to call home.
It's located in the Greenbriar community, one of the safest around (whomever wrote ghetto should do some research). The location is great: shopping center across the street, and quick/easy access to major highways. I love all the trees and the picnic area.
The staff (and the other tenants) are respectful and helpful. Okay, 1 person is a little more difficult than the others, yet still pleasant. But that's just my opinion. And the maintanance staff is great too. I had a more challenging and mysterious problem with a water leak: they worked with me and explained things as they found and addressed the problem.
I found only one apt similar in quality for a similar price and that was near Leesburgh, which is further out than I'd like from DC.
The only negative experiences I've had are the ones that exist regardless of where you live. For example, a neighbor who speaks so loudly I can hear him, or the garbage receptacle overflowing the day before pick up. Also, it isn't a gated community, but if I wanted that, I'd go elsewhere and pay more for it.
This is a great place if you like quiet, easy parking, and comfortable.
